While it's harder to grow organically than chemically, the produce that will come out of your garden will be healthier for you. While chemical claims are wondrous, organic gardening will always provide the most rewarding and healthy crops.

If you invest your time in doing organic gardening properly

Preparing the soil for planting a perennial garden is easy. Use your spade to slice chunks of turf up, then flip each piece over, then spread the area with approximately three inches of wood chips. Let the area have about two weeks, then begin digging into it and planting your new perennials.
